reception. Start the conference off right by meeting your peers in advance
to exchange stories while enjoying this exciting mixer. Begin some of the
strong connections that our previous USBLN® conference attendees have
established over the years.
Homeless Veterans Service Project

Join us in preparing kitchen start-up
packages for homeless veterans who are transitioning into housing through
the Kentucky VA Veterans Transition Program. This service project is supported
by the Kentucky AmeriCorps program through the Kentucky Commission on Community
Volunteerism and Service. The USBLN® Student Advisory Council will be
working collaboratively to lead the project. It will provide conference attendees
an opportunity to make a contribution to the Louisville community, and to
learn more about service as a road to employment for people with disabilities.
Start-up packages will provide veterans
with the basic kitchen supplies they'll need to get settled into their new
home. You can contribute by spending a few minutes packing up supplies, or
you can work with teams of other volunteers for the length of the networking
event. Hope you can join us!
"Dinner Meet Up" Lounge
